eos in dungeons

Sorry for the long post, SCH main here, hopefully that explains the pros/cons a bit. Also Embrace is going to pretty much be the same no matter what you do.eos is better to use, you yourself can do much more dps with eos taking over healing then the little added dps you'll get from having selene ss/as moves.

In all honesty when i sch i use eos in dungeons FFXIV Gil so i can dps more plus easier SR's. Selene is hands down better for a SCH who already knows the fight. Eos' cd's are way too long and don't benefit much unless the party youre doing NEEDS it because they are taking too much damage. Its up to you who to use but if were talking efficient SCH's, Selene.

Even if you know how to use Eos properly you probably don't need to rely on her to heal properly, she is a cushion healer. Even when speed running dungeons that I can DPS in I will use Selene and lustrate spam because lustrate isn't affected by buy FFXIV Gil your MND stat and I trust in the tank to use CD's appropriately. On a burn phase Selene is a god send, especially for BLM's with their shit cast times. If you're that worried about your heals, use Eos, but you shouldn't be that worried if you have the skill for it which by the sounds of it you do. Either way your preference doesn't really matter, you should learn to control both fairies equally dependent on situation if you want to do the whole best of the best thing. But yes, Selene does help parties clear faster. You might not think it's much but that's probably also because you don't notice the increase as a healer, not a dps. Also it's not that the dps -needs- help, it's that things go a lot faster if you do help them.

I am a sch, but when I'm a DRG and in dungeon a sch gets Eos out all I think about is "Ugh, my TP". Skill speed isn't really the best thing out there. I never played BLM, my only caster is SMN and that one gets a skill speed bonus when the pet crits, so I actually have no idea of the situation and won't step in there.
