This is how RuneScape is supposed to be. Sharing stories, having fun, playing with friends, but runescape is not all about competition, runescape is about having fun, meeting people, solving stuff, and most important of all, have a nice time.
I beg to differ, good'ol friendly competition plays a huge part in it. Even with skills/quests etc. everyone tries to be better and THAT is okay. And of course being respectful and having a lot of fun.
